We recently assisted our client to purchase a commercial investment property in Mildura VIC inside their Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF).
The customer had already sought advice from their Accountant as to the viability and suitability of owning a property inside their SMSF.
Challenges Faced
The market for SMSF lending has depleted over the past few years, with only a small number of Lenders who offer SMSF loans.
Our Lender Accreditations span across all types of providers of finance, enabling us to assist with any lending needs including SMSF.
The population of any regional location is an additional challenge to some of those SMSF lenders.
Outcome
We were able to research all Lenders who provide SMSF solutions for commercial properties, and then negotiate a very competitive interest rate, notwithstanding the location of the property in a regional area.
We then worked with the Lender, the Customer’s Solicitor and the Customer’s Accountant to ensure the property purchase could be processed and settled as smoothly as possible.
